St. Peter welcomes our new Rector, the Rev. Mary C. Fleming

Posted: August 7, 2020 |

On July 1, 2020 we welcomed our new Rector, the Reverend Mary C. Fleming.

Mary returns to parish work directly from her previous role as a Psycho-Spiritual Practitioner and Registered Psychotherapist at Hamilton Health Sciences, St. Peter’s Hospital. Prior to her chaplaincy work, she ministered in many Anglican parishes in the Hamilton-Niagara area, and held positions at Mission Services and Samaritan’s Purse.

Mary looks forward to developing new inner city ministries with parishioners, and considers St. Peter by the Park very well-positioned to reach out to the community with the strong, saving love of Jesus Christ.

Mary is a musician, and also enjoys creating travel experiences for groups and individuals, especially to Israel. She has three grown children.

GriefShare starts September 22

Posted: August 7, 2020 |

We care about ministering to the bereaved in our community at Saint Peter by the Park.

Whether you have lost a close family member or a friend, grief affects us all. But no one needs to go through the experience of loss alone. With mutual support and a biblical perspective, we’ll travel through 13 weeks of GriefShare together, and find hope for living.

The first session will be on Zoom, Tuesday September 22, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.  We will add a second session if the first fills up quickly.

A registration link will be posted soon, so please check back here. Or contact us anytime to express interest.
