Information about our DivorceCare program to come.
Part 1
This is info about part 1.
How long have you been a part of ANiC?
How long have you been making these activity sheets for children?
What sparked the idea to start creating them?
Do you enjoy the process of preparing them? If so, what about it? Are there any challenges?
Is there anything other churches should know about using the activity sheets?
What would your hope be for how God may use them in childrens’ lives?
Tips for Engaging with an Online Church Service from Home
- Turn up the volume – singing, speaking liturgy, focusing on the speaker all these things are especially hard to do if your volume is pretty low. Crank it up!
- Get comfortable, but not too comfortable – maybe your spot stretched out on the couch feels so nice but isn’t the best for engaging with worship! Maybe a chair would help?
- Devices away – phones and tablets can be so useful and fun but also super distracting! Maybe put them away, read along with a printed Bible and reduce the distraction temptation!
- Prepare – if it’s harder to focus, engage and feel a part of a service from your living room consider taking more time to prepare yourself/your family before it starts. Just flipping it on like right as it starts like your favourite weekly show or the Leafs game may not help you engage in worship. Try having a minute or two of quiet first. Perhaps pray to be more aware of the presence and peace and leading of the Lord in your home.
